great deal of hard work to make it into professional softball, but your hard
work can really pay off. Here are a couple of talented women softball
players.
Jennie Finch
Jennie Finch is the most popular pro
softball player in the world. She is 6" she was born on September 3rd 1980. She
was born in La Mirada, California. She currently lives in Tuscon, Arizona. She
plays on team USA and pitches (right handed.)

- Led University of Arizona to the 2001 NCAA
title.
- Finished the 2001 season 32-0, the NCAA record
for wins in a season without a defeat.
- College career record of 50-12, with six
perfect games, 13 no-hitters, 0.15 ERA and 784 strikeouts.
- Nominated for 2000 ESPY for Best Female
Collegiate Athlete.
- Graduated from Arizona with a degree in
communications (2002).
- Interned at Arizona State School for the Deaf
and Blind and also at Tucson radio station KRQ-FM.
- Files stories as a correspondent for the Major
League Baseball's "This Week in Baseball"
- Favorite food is pasta; favorite movie is "A
League of Their Own."
