As our name shows, our goal is to Speak, Listen, and Learn and unite students around the world, and we would love your input! We are all part of the ThinkQuest Club at Castilleja School in Palo Alto, California, and we are dedicated to achieving our goal through our website. Please feel free to explore our site and then e-mail us your comments and questions—we would love to hear about your life in your community.

About Us:

Eighth Graders:

Shelley

Xanthia

“We joined TQ because we were interested in learning about how other kids felt about some issues we face every day. It would be really neat to know the perspectives of other students from schools around the world. We joined to provide our opinions and, in the long run, encourage others our age to post their views. We also wanted to learn how to make a website! From this experience, we have far exceeded our expectations in learning the technology behind the ‘world wide web’.”

-- Shelley and Xanthia

Ninth Graders:

Vritti

Emily

Melissa

"We first heard of this club when we went to the club fair here at Castilleja. We wanted to build on our basic Dreamweaver skills, as well as to connect with other students outside the U.S. This club has provided both intellectual and technical value. To say the least, we formed friendships through this process that never would have happened without this club."

--Melissa

Coaches:

Roxanne Lanzot

"...it was great to work with such a fun and motivated group of girls, who were so devoted to giving up their precious free time to learn these new technologies..."
