Missing Ship and Planes
Five planes disappeared on December 5, 1945 flight # 19. It's been a mystery for over 58 years.
Many U.S. military ships have been lost but not forgotten between 1780 and 1824, including the General Gates, Hornet, Insurgent, Pickering, Wasp, Wildcat, and Expervier.

Rosalie- lost in 1838
Ellen Austin- lost in 1881
Timandra -lost in 1917
Cyclops -lost in March 1918 with 309 men aboard
Cotopaxi- lost on December 1, 1925
Suduffco -lost in 1926
Anglo Australian- lost in 1938. Captain Parslow and 34 men were aboard. Right before they vanished, they signaled that everything was O.K., they were never seen again.
Windfall- lost in 1962
Genesis-lost in 1999
Tropic Bird-lost in 2000
