Ecological Havoc
During the craze, many flowerhorn that were considered too "ugly" or not "lucky" enough were dumped into (waterways), as it was believed that killing them would bring bad luck upon the killer. These fish quickly multiplied and competed with the native fish for teritory and resources.
The Flowerhorn can grow up to 30 centimeters (12 inches) in length and up to 3kg (6.6 pounds) in weight.
