Captain Smith
The Titanic was the biggest ship of her time. The lines plan shows  the contours of the ships hull. The plating plan shows portholes, bilge keel, side plates and fittings. The Titanic had 50000 horsepower engines. All three watertight bulkheads plans show the water tight bulkheads with all the ice burg anchor weighed 15 1/2 fret captain agreed with the builders that the Titanic was indestructible. Little did they know what was going to happen that first trip. The captain was Captain E.J. Smith. The Titanic took 4 years to build.

Frederick Flet , in the crow's nest, was the first person to see the iceberg. At first Frederick thought the
tiny ice berg was nothing to fret about, but as  the ship came closer he realized his little ice cube was a huge ice berg. As he  rang the warning bell but Fredrick knew it was to late. Panic fell over the ship. As the Titanic hit the ice burg it nearly split in half. 199 first class passengers lived, 119  second class passengers lived, 174 third class passengers lived, and 214 crew members lived. But only 705 passengers and crew were rescued. 1523 passengers and crew drowned or froze to death 130 first class passengers died, 166 second class passengers died, 536 third class passengers died, and 685 crew members died.

Scientist later learned that 90% of the ice burg was really under water. Scientist later realized that there was a layer of ice behind the one that sunk the Titanic. Even if they had time to turn around
the ship's rear would have hit the layer of ice. The Titanic was the biggest ship of her day and the biggest ship to crash.
