Children under 12 probably should not head the ball due to the injuries
that can occur.

Also, if you are a girl you should play with your hair up.

Many countries enjoy playing soccer.
A lot of countries win world cups in competitions if they work hard
enough. In soccer there are girl soccer teams and boy soccer teams.

Soccer Was Developed
As played today, soccer was developed in the United Kingdom in the
1800’s and quickly spread to many other countries.
The game of soccer was not until the mid-1900’s that is was popular in
the USA. But today, it is one of
the nation’s fastest growing sports.

Generally soccer is a safe and healthy form of exercise and competition
for children. However, some
precautions should be taken to maximize safety.

One thing to preventing injuries is choosing a proper class for teaching
soccer. Children and their families
have to accept whatever kinds of injuries occur during a soccer play.

practice time, game time and days off can prevent overuse injuries.

If a child has a proper predisposition to certain injuries such as ankle
sprains, should be examined before playing.
If not, a child might get worse during a play, and receive another
injury. Braces that are supportive may be appropriate for the teeth if needed.

female players reporting more injuries than males.
