AIDS EDUCATION

AIDS Education would have been another safe way out of the AIDS Epidemic, but due to several factors it has not been a hundred percent effective. In most cases, HIV positive people often engage in AIDS education, due to that fact that they are living evidences and can convince people about facts on AIDS. The kind of education given to an HIV positive person might make such person live longer or shorten the persons life span, and as such some factors should be taken into consideration before someone embark on AIDS education.
AIDS education (for HIV victims) is usually

Educating HIV patients can increase their life span

started by the doctor, who diagnoses the patient of HIV. Before telling an AIDS patient about his condition, the doctor should enlighten the patient of the disease bearing in mind that such victims are usually entangled in an emotional trauma.

FACTORS TO CONSIDER

To embark on an AIDS education, you have to consider the following factor:
  • Age range

  • Literacy

  • Financial expenses (It's not good to start a campaign that you are unable to complete, it's better you don't start at all, than start and not complete).

  • Local language

  • cultural ethics

  • Have people ever had AIDS education?

 AIDS EDUCATION FOR TEENAGERS

Education for teenagers can be disseminated by means of survey or distribution of educational leaflets. This will serve as a form of awareness on how the disease can be contacted and safe way to avoid the disease. You can make a sample survey with our survey generator.
