The "Genesis of AIDS" is an online educational resource created by
five
dynamic and intelligent students with support from two coach in a team which is
spread across four countries Globe. We all had difference experiences and obstacles as to
accomplishing specific tasks which we were to handle, but happily enough for all
of us, we attained success in getting our message of the "Genesis of Aids"
across.
The whole project started around September 2004, when Samuel, being
a student who used to be really concerned about his environment and problems
people around him face, started to sought for international teams mates who
could help him in establishing the project, which he had already named right
from time.
Coincidentally, Omar was at the Think Quest Africa awards ceremony in
Cairo-Egypt when Samuel was there to receive his Think Quest Africa awards.
Omar had however gotten Samuel's Email and
added it to his MSN messenger list. Soon Samuel and Omar became friends
through conversations and Samuel introduced Omar into what he was thinking
on creating a website with the rarest information on the deadliest disease, the two young dudes
agreed where happy to work together. Samuel continued his
search for team members, all he had for people he was inviting was the proposed hugely
sketch ( see below ) and some great words, however most of the people who showed
interest were later lost, mostly due to intensive school work, but Samuel was
not depressed, he worked with Omar in the team which was then comprising of the
two coaches (who where earlier mailed by Samuel for the project) and two students,
and we had online conferences through the MSN
messenger and we actively used our forum ( which was earlier set up by our
secondary coach )to share thoughts and temporarily keep
our files.
The team was later Joined by Ajinkya and Shahen, who
both actively contributed their quota to the overall success of the project. We
all worked in different Areas, kept each other informed and we are finally happy
we came up with something worth showing to the world.

Concept
While working on this project we did employed criticism
techniques where an avenue was created for each team member to
criticize other members work, we did enjoyed selves encouragement
and that tactics helped us a lot in realizing and fixing our weekness,
and so we built up as a strong team.
iNITIAL
COLORFUL DESIGN, THAT DIDN'T SUITE THE SITE PURPOSE
Colors : At the beginning of this project we made a very colorful
and good looking design for the project, but we had to replace it
soon due to the fact that we later thought it didn't really define
the subject of the origin of AIDS. First, we thought of building a
site based on grey style (no strong colors, just black and white or
a mixture of both) to portray the subject of History (Origin), next
we thought of building it on a medical team to reveal the subject of
AIDS. Our Idea through all these, for that anyone can easy foretell
what this site was talking of, from a first sight.
