  GENESIS OF AIDS
   
Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome ( AIDS ) is one of the major catastrophe that pose a major threat to the population of the world in the coming decade. Ever since the first outbreak on the 5th of July, 1981,  there had been thousands of more people getting infected, and little care as been given to the origin of AIDS in terms of research to find possible solutions of the disease. Currently there had been over 30 million people that have been confirmed to be living with AIDS.
   Unlike most other diseases AIDS remains incurable, no suitable cure has been found for the disease and thus prevention remains the only way to be without AIDS. The knowledge of the real Origin of AIDS would play a significant role in ruling out a suitable cure for the epidemic and as such we need to get to it's root and know more on the "GENESIS OF AIDS". It's obvious that there had been lot of websites on AIDS, but very few goes deeply into exploring the origin of AIDS. We decided to make this website to propagate a detailed origin of AIDS and bring up it's history in an exciting learning environment full of fun for everyone.

Genesis of AIDS is an Educational and yet interactive website, that aims at bringing down the knowledge of the origin AIDS clearly to the lowest level and for AIDS to be understood by smallest student. As such the site adopts a superb pedagogical style in seeing that everyone that visit the site get to find information and know more on both historic and scientific facts AIDS. To aid the site user, the site has been made with an easy accessible and stylish navigation layout, more so, there are media materials (pictures and videos) to help the user capture a visual knowledge of the subject matter. Furthermore, quiz, crossword, mini-exams and a contest has been placed for interactive and competitive learning among students that visit the site.

Basic
 
 This section deals with the general knowledge and facts about AIDS. There are explanations on the definition of HIV and AIDS, how it can be transmitted and ways of preventing it. Furthermore, there are explanations on the ways of treating and caring for people that are HIV positive even before they develop the symptoms, though we all know that there is no
cure at the moment but the treatment could help in slowing down the activities of virus. More so, there is an explanation on the common treatment (antiretroviral) available for aids patients.
 
 
The Virus
 
 This section explores through the structure of the human immune virus (HIV). The various types of the virus that has being discovered, ranging from the HIV one to HIV 2. Also included in this section is an animated explanation of the life cycle of HIV and the vaccines that are presently available.
 
 
 
 
The Genesis
 
 This is the section that comprehensively deals with the history of AIDS. First on this section, is an outline of the first outbreak of AIDS. The section also features an in-depth explanation of the 1999 Alabama research on mystery of chimpanzee to man transmission. There is also an events calendar that takes you
through a little ride down the lane of development of AIDS, through from 1970 - 2004 .
 
 
 
 
Statistics
 
 With over forty nine (49) million people infected worldwide HIV is still spreading at a vary fast rate. This section deals with figures and statistics of HIV. it deals mainly with the statistics of aids since it's discovery . The statistics are so comprehensive to extent of providing regional statistics and then statistics of HIV transmission among health workers.
 
 
 
 
Aids in Africa
 
 In this section you will get to know about aids in Africa. It deals with the impact and statistics of aids in Africa. More so, There is an article on susceptibility of orphans to AIDS, and also possible solutions to all these problems
 
 
 
 
Aids education
 
 This section expatiates on the concept and basis of AIDS education. It also highlights who needs the education, how it should be disseminated to the various categories of people, and factors to consider before embarking on an AIDS education. You can also practice AIDS education in your own

Sexually transmitted diseases (STD)
