The G team of Havas

We went to have a look at the Special Olympics in Lelystad, a town nearby Almere.
We went specially to see the G team of Havas playing.
They play handball.
The brother of Renate knew the team, he plays handball too.
We interviewed some players and were allowed to film them.
This is a little film of the yell.

Interviews:

Natascha
"I am 18 years old and I only play handball.
I like it to play handball.
I have already played it for 4 or 5 years.
I have joined the Special Olympics for one more time.
So this is my second time.
We already have played 2 games and I almost scored a goal."

Marco
"I am 29 years old.
And I have played handball for a very long time now.
Besides handball I also play darts.
I like doing it.
We always train on Thursdays.
This is my third Special Olympics.
We have played two games already and we won both games."
I scored 4 times.

Menno
"I am 30 years old.
I play handball and another sport.
I sport at the fire brigade and I swim.
I always like to sport.
I sport for 15 years now.
We just won the games.One 6-0 and the other by 2-0.
I scored 3 times in the firts game end two times in the second game."

Marjan
"I am 45 years old.
I play handball and I like to play 'sjoelen' (sjovel board).
And I really like both sports.
I sport for 10 years.
This is the 4th time that I join the Special Olympics.
We had to say the oath.
And this is how it went: I hope that I win, and if I don't win I tried my best anyway.
We already won 2 games.
I almost scored.
I threw against the pole."

Olympic Gold
The team won the Olympic gold in the year 2003.

goal keeper Monique, and the players Jeroen, Marco, Eric, Gert-jan, Menno,
Karel, Marjan, Linda, Natascha, Floor.
And coaches: Hanneke, Marjan and two volunteers.
