Fred’s Studio and the lending of Art

In Fred’s shop in Purmerend (the Netherlands) you can lend and rent pieces of art. The pieces of art are being made in the studio behind the shop.
Most of the work of the artists is sold. Sometimes pieces of art are being let. Companies can rent on basis of an “on location service”, individuals build up an amount of money.


Saving
The contribution for renting art is € 34,- for six months. If you pay that sum, you can lend a piece of art with a value of € 120,- or less. If you want to lend a more expensive piece of art, you have to pay 11 euro extra, per six months. From the money you pay, you save half of it. If you think you have saved enough money, you can pick out a piece of art (or something else in Fred’s shop) from your savings money.

You are allowed to lend a piece of art as long as you want, as long as you pay your half-yearly contribution. If you want to, you are allowed to exchange your piece of art for another piece of art.
