Ice age

The periods of geo chronology which lasted for 10 thousands of years, when as a consequence of the decreasing of the temperature of the surface the polar ice sheets and the glaciers inhigh mountains spread probably at the same time to the ice-free zones of the Earth. The reasons of this are searched in the joint of many factors (the power of sunshine, the processes that take place in the sun, the shift of the Earth’s poles, the changes that take place in the balance of heat of the continents). There was freezing in the aegonikum, carbon, perm and pleistocin. Besides the 4 ice ages (günz, mindel, riss, wündel) in the Alps, which were poved earlier and named after local rivers, they suppose that tgere was another ice age (duhai) before the günz (so in Hungary too) a cold and dry, perigacial climate was dominant. In the subtropics a wet, penvial period was the ice age.
