Rock has served many uses over history from the caveman to the current day people. I will tell you about the most important rock use from long ago. Thousands of years ago, caveman used rock for lots of perposes. One of the best and most clever uses was the arrowhead. An arrowhead was used mainly to kill animals which they whould take the meat from to eat. Both sides are sharp and kind of angle up to a point, like a triangle. In states where cavemen or indians use to live you can arrowhead hunt. That is when you go out into a farmers field and stare at the dirt hoping to find at least one arrowhead a day. It isn't muck fun walking around staring at nothing until you find your first arrowhead. I ran to my dad screaming "Dad, I found one, I found an arrowhead!" Because that arrowhead was such a nice one my dad still teases me that I tripped on a rock and fell right in front of it. In the picture below my first arrowhead is the middle top one. Finding arrowheads never looses its exitement. Arrowhead hunting is a very great experience and if you get a chance, try it.Sometimes you find broken arrowheads, (more like most of the time.) Some times you find very good arrowheads, like the ones in our photo to the right.
