Silk screening

This is the most secure technique of reprodaction because of the capability of unlimited number of printing with the same result. Multicolor printing needs as many screens as many color being used.

We don’t deal with makeing the screen here only the usage of it. We are able to print complex templates, letters, sign, pictures with this screen. That’s way is capable to print the emblem of the school on shirts or scarfs. The emulsion surface and the strainer are on the frame streched screen.The paint goes through the screen to the textile whre it isn’t covered by the emulsion.

Description:

Place the textile (shirt, cover, sheet, scarf) on the printig table or cover a table with newspaper to transform it to printing table. Place the screen on the part of the texile where you want to print. Put paint into the strainer and strip it with a rakli several times so the template will show up on the textile.

Dry and iron first on the back side the finished textile to fix the paint on it. Wash the screen. Dry it before reusing it.

If you have only one screen but you want to paint multicolor use the colors together so they are going to mix. The prints won’t be the same becasue of the mixig of the paints.
