Charles Manson

D.O.B.: November 12, 1934
Manson was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. At the age of 13, his mother attempted to put him in a foster home. Unable to find one, he was put in a boys' home. He ran away, back to his mother who still didn’t want anything to do with him. The outcome was Manson’s stealing streak. He stole to support himself. In 1951, he was sent to prison for driving a stolen car. He was transferred to another facility and was released in 1954. At the age of 21, Manson married 17-year-old Rosalie Jean Willis. After he and Rosalie moved to California, he was arrested for theft and Rosalie became pregnant. He was released on probation but it was revoked in 1956 when he missed a court date. Soon after his arrest Rosalie gave birth to Charles Manson Jr. who committed suicide in 1993. Then Rosalie left town  with a truck driver and their son. After serving 2 years of a 3 year sentence, Manson was paroled in 1958. In 1959, he was arrested again for passing stolen checks and once again he was given probation. During his probation he met a girl named Leona, whom he married. Manson was arrested for the purpose of prostitution on June 1, 1960. Soon after his arrest Leona gave birth to his second son, Charles Luther Manson, and served him divorce papers.
Manson spent most of his adult life in jail. He also  was a pimp. In 1967 he was released and moved to San Francisco, California. He gathered a group of  followers, which he referred to as “the family.” Mason and “the family” had many  victims.  Some were very famous Americans and well known throughout the world.
