How to Make a Pinata

Supplies:

Newspaper
Large Balloons
Tissue Paper
Liquid Starch
Glue
Scissors
Candy to fill it

Directions:

Cut newspaper into strips
Soak newspaper in starch
Cover balloon with wet newspaper (This is also called paper mache.)
Let balloon dry overnight
Repeat steps 1-3 again
Make a hole to put in candy
When completely dry, pop the balloon

To Decorate:

Cut tissue paper into small squares
Crumple the tissue paper
Glue the crumpled tissue paper on to the pinata
Decorate any way you want
Make a hole and fill it with the candy (or toys)

Have Fun:

Blindfold the person
Spin the person around by how old they are
Break pinata with a medium stick
Collect candy when it breaks!
