bootleg - newer term to replace "ghetto". Something that is an imitation, cheap or of bad quality

bust yo grill - to hit them in the mouth or to beat them up

chillin - to hang out with your friends

dis - to disrespect

ease up - means calm down or balk up

feel me - to understand

holla - to say a greeting

homie - old word that means friend or companion

let's bounce - something said when it is time to leave. Let us leave the premises now

mad dawg - to stare someone up from head to toe as if to initiate a fight

pawtna - from "partner". A friend. A loyal associate

peace out - a farewell remark. To say to someone, especially a friend

ride - someone's mode of transportation. A car.

salty - to have a bad attitude towards someone or something

tight - an older term that still maintains its presence that means good or very nice
