Description:
The Gray hawk is a small hawk with a yellow beak. It is a pale gray color and has white upper body. The immature Gray hawks usually have streaks of brown on their upper body parts. Some of them even have a thinner tail.

The main place that the Gray hawk resides is in the riverside woodlands of cottonwoods. They also live in willows and sycamores.

The Gray hawk breeds mostly in Arizona. Rarely, the Gray hawk will breed in southwestern New Mexico. Most of them migrate during the winter.
