Habitat:

The Common Black Hawk usually lives in low land areas. They nest in trees and branches close to where their territory is. In Panama, the Black Hawk is found in coastal areas.

Size:

The usual size of the Common Black Hawk is 52 centimeters in length. The wingspan is 127 centimeters. Immature Black Hawks have dark brown streaks on them.

Diet:

The Black Hawk mainly eats snakes, frogs, fishes, young birds, and large land crabs.
