Welcome to Mad About Metamorphosis! What REALLY is a butterfly, and what happens during metamorphosis? We are 4th and 5th grade students who wanted to know, so we created this website to explain it! We also created a place where students could go to find out about all of the different butterflies that could be found in our home state of South Dakota. Our site tells about different popular stories about butterflies, and you will find lots of activities to try. If you get stuck on a word, there is also a dictionary to help you along.
