Moth Butterfly
The most important difference between them is that butterflies fly around during the daytime (diurnal) and moths fly around during the nighttime (nocturnal). Also, butterflies are larger than moths because they are fully functional. Some moths may harm you and most butterflies do not harm you. Moths eat clothes and butterflies do not. Sometimes butterflies are two headed! There are not two headed moths. Moths do not feed when they are adults and butterflies do. Butterflies usually are more colorful than moths, which tend to blend in with their surroundings, and even at their most colorful, they are NOT as colorful as a butterfly. Butterflies have a thinner antennae and a moth has a wider antennae. |
