Once upon a time there was a dragon. His name was Merlin. One day he was getting ready to go to church. He was putting on his exquisite suit when he realized that he did not have any underwear left in his bureau. This was strange for he had put them in the wash yesterday. Then he went looking for his socks which he could not find. While he was putting on his grotesque shirt, he thought that maybe all his missing clothes were in the hamper. Marlin stormed downstairs interrupting his parents, who were enjoying their morning coffee. Merlin then asked his parents where his clean socks and underwear were. Merlin’s mom told him that she had recently took the dirty laundry to the dry cleaners. Then she said to secede from their presence. She also told him to get on his bicycle and go to the dry cleaners to see if his socks and underwear were done washing. So he left with an excited countenance on his face. The washers were shaped like a semicircle. The music playing there was a symphony called “The Royal Princess Polly”

Merlin’s favorite because he had a crush on Princess Polly. He called his mom on
his high tech digital cell phone to ask her which washer the clothes were in. It
was washer 7. Using his unacute mind he took the clothes out of the washer. He
took his clothes and left. Merlin forgot to pay the guy at the register. When he
got home, he put on his aquamarine colored underwear and socks. They were still
wet from the washer. When Merlin walked downstairs his mother tried to stay
serene, but couldn’t. The wet underwear got his clothes all wet. His mother was
furious! But she started to laugh. She remembered a time he had done this before
when he was in preschool. But Merlin was in 5th grade now so she was
mad. It was time for church. He refused to change out of his clothes. At church
some odious people laughed at him. He began to feel uncomfortable. Then he found
out that it was simply manifest of why people were laughing at him. His clothes
were sop-in-wet! He took his clothes off. He ran into the church auditorium. His
mom happened to be in there. His mom asked where his clothes were. Merlin’s mom
didn’t give him enough time to answer. She quickly grabbed a costume for Merlin
to put on. The church was having a play so the costumes were available. Merlin
quickly put the costume on. When he got home he changed his clothes. Merlin,
vowed never to wear damp clothes again.
