Ants – If you are bitten by a fire ant there will be swelling. You should clean it with soap and water. Hold an ice pack against the bite. If there is still swelling rub a cotton ball that has been soaked in solution. If you are scratching a lot get an adult to apply some anti-itch cream. BACK | |

Brown Recluse - When you get bit by a Brown Recluse you should see a physician immediately! You should also try to collect the specimen so that the doctor knows what kind of medicine to give. BACK | |

Black Widow - When you get bit by a Black Widow you need to see a doctor immediately to get some antitoxin. If you do not get this medicine there is a chance that the bite could kill you. BACK | |

Copperhead – If you get bit by a copperhead you need to keep the place you were bit below your heart and get to the hospital as soon as possible. BACK | |

Cottonmouth – If you get bit by a cottonmouth you should get to the nearest doctor. A bite could kill you if you don’t get to a doctor soon enough. BACK | |

Bees – When you get stung by a bee you should pull the stinger out and wash the cut and put some Neosporin or some type of cream to help the pain. Put a band-aid over the sting so that germs don’t infect it. BACK | |

Wasps – Wasp stings are very similar to bee stings. You should use the same steps with a wasp sting. BACK | |

Hornets – Cool the area with ice. If swelling continues see a doctor, they will find a medication or cure. BACK | |

Coral Snake - see a doctor IMMEDIATELY. They will find the appropriate medication. BACK | |

Centipedes - Their bite causes pain and swelling. To stop this apply ice. BACK | |

Rattlesnake - Seek medical attention IMMEDIATELY. The doctor will recommend a treatment. BACK | |
