Brown Recluse Spiders

Phylum: Arthropods                Class: Scorpions, ticks, mites, harvestmen, and spiders

Order: True Spiders            Family: Loxocelidae

If you see a brown spider with a violin shaped marking on it's back you should get away because it's more then likely to be a brown recluse!

You can find them inside in dark places in a dark corner, closets, basements, attics, garages, and cellars. They could also be hiding outside like under rocks, in the garden, in old shoes, under debris, and wood piles. They only come out at night. So, bring a flashlight whenever you go outside in the dark and watch out for Brown Recluse Spiders at your feet! Click on the spider to learn more!
