HOW DO THEY GET HERE? Invasive Plants get here in many different ways. For example the Purple Loose Strife gets here by people digging it up in another state and planting it in there gardens thinking it was a beautiful flower. Another way is by water, many water plants get washed to different seas, lakes, and rivers which they may not be used to. Also they get attached to boat propellers and are towed away. The most often way for Invasive Plant seeds are in animal furs. The animals might rub up against a tree or plant and pick up some seeds then some how travel to another habitat or state. There are many other ways for these plants to get here, some are by birds, wildlife, wind, water, and vehicles. But another way is by people throwing away sea food. One of the weirdest ways they get here is on people's shoes!!!
