Hurricane Paths

Hurricanes usually take the same paths. The most common paths for North America are shown in the map Above. The hurricanes usually feed off of the warm water of the east coast of North America or the Gulf of Mexico. Similiar tendencies occur on the east coast of Asia. The same is shown on the east coast of Africa. When hurricanes cross over land they usually lose power quickly. The longest paths are the ones that stay near water, where the hurricane feeds.
