During the Hurricane |
| During
the hurricane you should head to an interior room such as a bathroom
or go under the stairs of a house. Stay away from all windows.
Bring some food in the room you choose BEFORE the hurricane
such as water or a snack. Also bring along a radio. When winds die down
stay in your room. Do not leave the house UNLESS the structure is collapsing.
Also remember to bring your pets inside with you. Stay in
a small room with an FM/AM radio with extra batteries. |
