Enviromental Damage

Hurricanes do not only harm people they also can cause lasting impacts on the environment. Hurricanes strip sands off beaches, move sand dunes which are homes to many creatures, and even split islands in half. Most of this damage is caused by storm surge. Hurricanes raze many animal's homes leaving them stranded. Many of these enviromental effects go unnoticed and should be tended to.
