Their advantages

-The shipping conditions can grow better
-We can use the barrage as a public bridge, with small outgivings
-Quick starting.

Their disadvantages
-In case of a dam bursting an inundation would come into being
-Under the influence of damming up the water might change the formed level of groud water and might effect the environment as well as the finished projects harmfully
-We can solve the disposal of sewage by pumps only, which work steadily in the neighbouring settlements
-The oscillation of the water's level causes the ruin of the riverside
The sipping will be more expensive and slover due to the use of lock-gates.
