Safety
****While you should have fun exploring
the pond, you need to be aware that safety comes first.
Here are some safety
tips for you:
1. Never
go to the pond without an adult.
2. Never
go in the water where you can't see the bottom.
3. Don't
go to too near the animals. They are wild and might bite!
4. Make
sure you know what types of plants grow at the pond. Some may
be poisonous!
5. Be
careful near the edge of the pond. The edges may give away!
6. Do
not get the water in your mouth!
7. Cover
all cuts with waterproof band-aids. They could get infected.
8. Do
not trespass to get to a pond.
And
here are some tips to make the pond a safe habitat for the creatures:
1. Do
not pick the leaves off the plants. Find your leaves to study
on the ground.
2. Take
a waterproof container to store your finds. But be sure to put
all the life back.
3. Do
not litter!
