What is a plant?
***It is a living thing that needs
sun, water, and soil. Many plants live along the edge of the
pond or in the muddy bottom. The weird thing is that without
plants we wouldn't live. The reason is that they give off oxygen
that we need to live.
**The midsummer pond is covered
in plants filled with a varities of colors. Plants line the edges
of the pond and live in the water. Some plants include the St-John's-Wort,
several buttercups, loosestrife plants, and so many cattails.
