Observation Station
Step 1: Take a collection
net, scoop it along the bottom of the pond. Then place what you
find in a large white basin filled with water.
Step 2: Observe materials
(including plants and animals) found in the basin.
Step 3: Record your findings
on a chart. Try to identify the animals and plants using field
guides.
Step 4: ALL SAMPLES MUST
BE RETURNED TO THE POND!!
