Newt
***A newt has dark gray green skin
with darker spots and a yellow belly. Newts also have a long
flat tail. A newt can grow to be 3-4 inches long. Something interesting
is that a newt has 4 fingers on each hand and 5 toes on each
foot.
***A newt eats insects, worms, snails,
and small fish.The newt's life cycle is very similar to a frog's.
Some newts stay in the water, others live half their life on
land and the other half in water.
