Water Measurement
Activity
Step 1: Record the depth
using a string tied to a weight. Lower the string into the water.
Pull the string out and measure how much is wet. This gives you
the depth of the water in this spot.
Step 2: Record the temperature
by lowering a thermometer with a string tied to it into the same
spot in the pond.
Step 3: Fill a cup with
water. Take the pH of the water by using litmus paper. You use
the litmus paper to see if the water is acidic like vinegar.
