Catfish

****A bullhead is an 18 inch catfish that can weigh over 3 pounds. Its back is a dark yellow-brown, and their sides are a little black. The underside is a light brown.

****Bullheads eat at the bottom of the pond. They have two sets of whiskers on the face. The bottom whiskers help them find food like insects, worms, and algae. The upper whiskers tells them what"s going on above.

****In spring time, males clear an area on the bottom of the pond. The females lay eggs in the nest, but the male guards them until they hatch into black fry.

****In winter time, bullheads might bury itself in the mud and leaves along the shoreline. They will hibernate there until the warmer weather comes back. These are some things about bullhead catfish.
