After The Project
After about 2 months of content write up and spending 2 more on translating, the site was complete. In total, only about 1 month was spent for assembling the site since small amounts were done whilst write up/translating took place. Amongst our group, there is certainly a combined sense of achievement, not just because we finally completed our goal, but because of the things we learnt on the way (the fact that four brains work more efficiently than one and eight hands work faster than two).

One major fact we realised was that a website actually takes more time and effort than what you might imagine (Don't be fooled by the simple outlook). The one thing we are most pleased about with the website would be that we really proved some people wrong and others right. Reality is nothing like the fairytales, where everyone goes 'give it your best shot, you can do it'. There were definitely some lovely people who were like that (thank goodness), but equally as many who doubted us from the very first minute. To these people, we want you to challenge life more (it doesn't matter where you live) and learn that you can only achieve what you think you can. Our hope for 'Forensic Science' is that it will provide viewers with information that will allow them to make informed decisions about the issues concerning forensic science and not base their judgments on TV. By completing this site, viewers should hopefully gain a good general knowledge of forensics and where technology of the 21st century is taking us.

Nothing brings a bigger smile to our faces than seeing what we've accomplished - over 600 files, 50 pages of word documents per version and a wonderful website we can now present not just to our friends, class or school - but to the world!
