Cover both sides of a leaf
with black construction
paper and keep the plant
inside your house. Make
sure that it is taped tightly.

Put the plant by the
window and wait for a
couple days.

After a few days take the
black paper off and see if
the color of the leaf
changed.

Why would the leaf be a
different color where the
paper had been?
