Future of Businesses
Although online businesses have taken a beating in the late 90's, the future of commercial industries and retail online interaction will most likely boom in the next decade. It has been proven that purely online-based businesses will fail in the national and international markets, especially during economic recessions. This is simply because not enough people have conformed to Internet use for daily life. Ideally, online businesses want a world in which human interaction is entirely web based so that people will be forced to purchase, trade, sell, and auction things through their services. However, such a scenario is not possible and the result forces businesses to sell commercial products in real stores, invest in paper ads, and allow consumers to physically interact with their products. However, this should not deter the idea of a compromise between purely online companies and warehouse stores.
The Internet will mainly provide future businesses with greater flexibilities and options. As more and more people use the Internet, businesses will have a greater opportunity to get their message out to the public. The television has been a good precursor to this notion. For fifty years, TV ads have been the primary way of reaching out to consumers, even across many nations. Likewise, the Internet will do the same on an even global level, creating a new way for businesses to identify, communicate, and sell products to their consumers.
