Badaa and I were classmates, so, we have known each other for 5 years. Badaa made couples of webs about our class. So, he has experiences to construct the web. As Edde, I’ve known him for a year. He helped me to present about Mongolia in Japan. He made an animation for my presentation. Of course, he is good at working at Macromedia Flash. Last March I met Mrs. Oyunchimeg. She is chairman of our district. She gave me that CD-ROM about ThinkQuest. After I knew about ThinkQuest I decided to participate that competition with Badaa and Edde. I told them then, they fortunately appreciated that idea. First we were going to create web about Mongolian Secret History. But sources are very limited. Then I saw Mrs. Oyunchimeg, she recommended us Geser, which is very famous fairy tale in Mongolia. Firstly we were just talking, talking and talking! Nothing was made physically. During summer Mandukhai called me and asked me, “Hey, do you know ThinkQuest?” I told her “Sure! I know!” She recommended that let’s participate ThinkQuest together and said, “I have team and please join us.” So, I told about my team, she was surprised and we became one team. Then we met each other and told about our subject, design and sources of our website. Then we gave responsibility of each member of team.
Actually, we had many problems. We didn’t have enough powerful computers to
do everything of our web. So we did our jobs at our home, separately. Then we
need to move our data to necessary place we had difficulty, because we haven’t
handy drive. So we moved the data by many floppy disks (diskettes). That’s very
difficult sometimes it breaks very easily.
We hadn’t any place to see each other, so we used to see each other at The National
Museum of Mongolian History. Because I used to do voluntary work there. So,
staffs of NMMH helped us to collect some information and photos, especially
Mr. Ayush and Mrs. Oyunkhai.
Sometimes we don’t sleep whole night. Because we do something, which are sharing
idea…, etc.
This fall I entered to university. Thus I met one professor, who has graduated
from Harvard University. He is Mr. Yong Gyu Lee, who is World History Professor
and primary coach of our team. Before I meet him we hadn’t decided yet our coaches.
Then he gave some advices and some information about Mongolian Empire.
Our secondary coach is brother of Edde. He also always advised us about method
of starting our work.
And very special thanks for following people:
