Coaches

Ms. Brackins is the library media specialist and computer club sponsor at Baton Rouge Magnet High School, where all of us (except for Philippe, the Brazilian) attended high school. She and Ms. Bischoff, our assistant coach, who is also the webmastering teacher at Baton Rouge High, were very dedicated and excited about entering ThinkQuest. Always sending out helpful tips and encouraging emails, our coaches were excellent coaches indeed.

We are thankful for them and the contributions they made to the team. By preparing us to build a website, providing guidelines for us to follow, and encouraging us to work harder, Ms. Brackins and Ms. Bischoff helped make our project enjoyable and run more smoothly.

Specific Roles

Websites are fun to make. Brainstorming, designing, researching, editing, calling each other up at odd hours of the night to make sure things were getting done-ThinkQuest is a project that requires cooperation. Without each team member, this site could not have been put together so nicely and efficiently.

Frank
As the page's main designer, Frank was our ringleader as he delegated tasks and checked up on us to make sure our part of the project was getting done. After all, his newly designed site needed content to accompany it. He designed the layout for the site, making banners, icons, links, games, and quizzes. For clarity, he also included a section on how to navigate the site in general.

Steven
Steven researched the history of cloning, putting together a timeline and various pictures to accompany it. He also wrote about the different cloning organizations that have been formed. He created a majority of the audio files.

Stacy
As the site's main content writer, Stacy wrote about all the various techniques for cloning, different types of clones, ethics behind cloning, as well as cloning regulations in different countries. She found diagrams and pictures to make the information easier to picture and understand. A prospective bioengineer, Stacy was the one who chose the topic of cloning for the project.

Philippe
Skilled in English, Chinese, and Portuguese, Philippe was kind enough to translate the entire website into Portuguese.

Raj
Raj pulled together questions for quizzes on all topics. He also formatted all the sources everyone used into an easy to read format.
