Further Research in Ayurved
Ayurveda is a not just a medical system that had evolved several thousand years ago but it is a medical system that can never become obsolete because of the very fact that it is ever developing. The Ayurvedic system of medicine has withstood the touchstone of time as it has got the element of flexibility from the very beginning. Even the modern methods of diagnosis & treatment being discovered have been incorporated in the Ayurvedic system to expand the horizons of it's application to combat the challenges that new ailments have put forward before the human race.
There have been much research & experimentation on the workability of Ayurvedic herbs & medication to the cure of diseases like AIDS, Cancer, Tuberculosis etc., these experiments have met with great success. As a result of this much focus of drug development has now shifted to find the alkaloids in the herbs that have been mentioned to be helpful in the old Ayurvedic texts.
In this section we will describe how even today research is on application of fundamentals of Ayurveda to challenge new ailment with the help of modern tools & technologies.
