Que: What is this site all about & what purpose does it serves?

Ans:No doubt, Modern medicine is one of the greatest boon to human civilization. But unfortunately in this march of progress we have forgot our traditional medical knowledge. This site aims to enlighten the reader how the knowledge of Ayurveda (Traditional Indian medical science) can be used even today to make our life more healthy.

Que: Why two links are provided for each section?

Ans: A navigation menu as well as a link bar is provided at the top to facilitate the reader to quickly have access to any section no matter where the mouse is positioned.

Que: Why quick links are provided on each page?

Ans: The links to major topics in a section are provided at the end of the content of a page, so that the reader can access any topic in a section at his will.

Que: What are the purpose of various icons with the headings mail, bookmark, notepad etc. located at the top of each page?

Ans: A tool bar has been provided at the top to provide some user friendly functionality to the site. The mail link provides the facility to send e-mail to someone. The print link provides the facility to print the page you are viewing. The bookmark link provides the facility to add the current page in the bookmark section of your browser. The notepad provides the unique feature of a web page which allows you to save your notes which you may recall later.

Que: How to use notepad?

Ans: This page provides the functionality of allowing you to save your notes which you may recall later. You can jot down your notes in the text box provided and then click on "save the text" button. You can also click on "clear previous text" button at the bottom to clear any previously saved text. The feature of word wrap has been provided, you can toggle this feature with the help of check box provided at the top.

Place mouse over any topic heading the menu area of the heading will be highlighted. The menu items that have subsections have got a image placing mouse on them will cause a pop-up menu to open, topics of this menu can then be clicked to browse to respective pages & section. The menu items that are not popup can be clicked directly to navigate to their respective pages.The popup menu can be closed by clicking icon which turns into when you place mouse over it.
