How this Project started & what were it's aim:
In this present world of competition , people have become money minting machines. They are working day in and out to be the best. They do not have enough time for themselves and for caring their body.
So arrived a need of a medical science which can bring humans back in equilibrium with the nature and this was none other than AYURVEDA. Moreover Ayurveda has been in existence since the beginning of time because we have always been governed by nature's laws.
As people are getting acquainted with the in-depth efficiencies of this system they are switching over to the same for leading a much more happier and healthier life.
With this very basic idea in mind that ayurveda is spreading its roots all over the world , we finally chose this topic.
A dot becomes a line, a line becomes a shape, shapes become patterns, patterns become art works. One must always remember to start at the very pure basics. In the end he will definitely end up with a masterpiece.
Inspired with these lines we started the journey of quest and exploration. With every small step we took in the course, old limits were conquered, new boundaries set and a naive paradigm of perfection was established.
Team work is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.
With this very idea we formed a group of people who shared same thoughts about the topic and were really devoted and determined.
After searching a lot finally a team was established. Although all of us were not computer wizards ,yet our creative and innovative thoughts, and above all our combined effort enhanced our impetus to excel and we were thus able to complete our dream project.
Team organisation:
The team members divided their responsibilities among themselves after formulating the goals & objectives.Though the responsibilities of each individual was different there was a complete co-ordination maintained in the overall developement of the site by a co-ordination group consisting of Coach Miss Sadhna Sharma & Pratyoosh.The team members shared each others ideas & no aspect of the site can be termed as the result of an individuls work however,
The task of developing Graphics & Layout for the site was done by Nupur with the assistance of pratyoosh on Adobe PhotoShop.
The Scripting mainly for the menu was done by Pratyoosh with the guidance of coach on JavaScript, Chinmay helped to search & solve several bugs in the menu script.
The content developement group consisting of Nupur & Pratyoosh searched various ancient texts & resouces to develop a rough framework which was throughly discussed & edited by the entire team with the supervision of coach.
The verification of the truth of the developed content was done by pratyoosh & Nupur in consultation with various Ayurvedic doctors & academic persons in the field of Ayurved.
The Linking of pages & integration of text into HTML was done by pratyoosh & throughly tested by Nupur.
The testing on MicroSoft Windows based browsers namely Internet Explorer & NetScape navigator was done by Nupur while testing on Linux & Solaris plateforms on Browsers like Konqueror,Mozilla,Lynx was done by Chinmay.The coach subsequently helped the student to solve some issues with JavaScript execution on Mozilla & Konqueror.
The team took a final look on the site & some suggestion given by Nupur on the link accesibility were incorporated.
