Gharials

The Gharial is a slender snouted crocodile that lives in Africa, Asia, Australia and North and South America. Gharials have long and sharp teeth to hold slippery fish. Gharials get there name from the knob on their nose called gara. The gara is only on males. It keeps other males away. The only gharial that is not a gharial is the False Gharial.  Not much is known about the False Gharial.
