| Cantonese Opera is the traditional opera of our country. It is a theme worthy of research so we can investigate its origins, history and change. It has been found that Cantonese Opera is composed of drama ( 戲曲 ) and art in different places of China. It is one of the largest drama classes in Guangdong( 廣東 ). The「Big Gong and Big Drum ( 大鑼大鼓 )」style is the characteristic of traditional Cantonese Opera beating music. Cantonese Opera started at the end of the Ming Dynasty( 明朝 ) and has a history of over three hundred years. During this period, it has undergone ups and downs that has made a great change to Cantonese Opera.
