Gods and Godesses~Zeus

Zeus, the most powerful God on Mt. Olympus, was son of the gods Cronusand Rhea. He was also in charge of the many Gods who resided on Mt. Olympus. He was known as a celestial God, and one who caused thunderstorms most notably because he is often shown with a thunderbolt in his hand. The name Zeus incidentally, is in relation to the greek word "Dios". That means "bright". His other attirbutes, other than the lightning bolt, are a scepter and an eagle.
