Gods and Godesses~Hera
Hera was the queen of all the Olympian deities, by being the wife, and amazingly, sister, of Zeus. Her parents were Gods Cronus and Rhea. Worshippers were likely to worship her if they were pregnant, or about to get married. Every year, it is said that Hera’s virginity would return if she bathed in the well called Canathus. Hera and Zeus had children called Hephaestus, Hebe and the war god, Ares. Some sources quote that her children were conceived not with the help of a man, but by hatred and lust ; she would whack her hand on the ground or eat lettuce.
