Apollo was the twin brother of Artemis and was the son of Leto and Zeus. Musicians were his main worshippers as he was the God of Music. He was also worshipped by prophets, colonists, poets, dancers, archers and shepherds . Besides music, Apollo was also the God of Plague. Go figure.... He is often depicted with a tripod, swan, wolf and dolphin. He is also shown with a bow and arrows. |
