Gods and Godesses~Aphrodite

Aphrodite is the Godess of Love and beauty, according to Greek Mythology. Aphrodite was the daughter of Zeus and Dione. Zeus was afraid that, after her birth, the Gods would have a duel for her hand in marriage, so, he decided to marry her off to the steadiest god ; Hephaestus, the smith god.

Hephaestus could not believe is wonderful luck and hastened to make the most lavish and unusual jewels for her. He also made her a gold magical girdle which would make her more irresistible than she already was. No one could resist her at all although she was so irresistible already. She loved to be the center of attention, and she despised being the wife of Hephaestus.
