About Us
Moreton Bay is a very  protected area in Queensland. The Brisbane River is the reason Moreton Bay exists because the river flows into Moreton Bay.The river is strange because while it flows to the bay, the fresh water changes to salt water. The Brisbane River is dredged every year because gets dirty and has to get dredged.

Moreton Bay is the habitat for over 1000 animals. The Brisbane river is the source of water for us and Moreton Bay. The water in the Brisbane river runs like a snake slithering through the ground looking for it’s food. When John Oxley found Brisbane, he went through the river and had to anchor in Moreton Bay. When John Oxley was set out in the boat, Mermaid, he went to explore Moreton Bay.  In 1828, on the 25of August, Cunningham found Cunningham's Gap which connects the Darling Downs to the Moreton Bay district. He saw aboriginals in the area and found that they were able to gather plenty of food from the bay area..
